Tabitha earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics from Virginia Tech. Her passion for the field was sparked by her own Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis and personal journey through an eating disorder. These experiences fueled her commitment to a nutrition practice rooted in autonomy, curiosity, and genuine connection, free from the constraints of diet culture.

During her graduate studies, Tabitha focused heavily on diabetes and chronic illness care. She firmly believes that medical nutrition therapy must align with what is practical and realistic for your unique life. By fostering a supportive, collaborative environment, Tabitha empowers clients to take active ownership of their health journeys and make informed, confident decisions.

Tabitha’s approach in sessions is direct yet warm, combining strong clinical knowledge with a deep commitment to transparency and accessibility. One of her greatest joys is exploring the roots of a client's relationship with food and body through conversation. She understands the complexities of healing this relationship, especially while managing a chronic illness, but firmly believes that peace and recovery are achievable.

In addition to her clinical work, Tabitha serves as the Program Development Assistant on the TLB Lead team. In this role, she supports new dietitians through training, develops educational resources to enhance client care, and provides regular clinical supervision to the TLB staff.

Above all, Tabitha genuinely cares about your well-being and is ready to support you every step of the way.

Outside of work, Tabitha cherishes her role as a parent and loves spending time outdoors, creating a cozy home, and sharing a good laugh. In her free time, you can find her swimming with her yellow lab, Maple, reading, or catching a funny video.

Tabitha is a registered and licensed dietitian in Texas and currently offers telehealth only sessions.
