Steph Clifford, MS, RD, LD
(she/her)
Steph is a registered dietitian who provides nutrition therapy for those struggling with their relationship with food, body image, and eating disorders. Steph earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at Texas A&M where she also completed her dietetic training, and her Masters of Science in Nutrition at University of Houston.
Steph has experience at the outpatient level in disordered eating and eating disorders of various stages. She meets clients where they are as they explore the origins of their eating and body image struggles. Steph has her own personal history with disordered eating and body image issues that has supported her work with clients over the years. Steph has experience working with clients with ARFID and sensory challenges. She also enjoys supporting clients with diabetes and PCOS to manage these conditions while stepping into intuitive eating. After experiencing pregnancy and postpartum personally, Steph is interested in continuing to support those in any stage of this journey with nutrition and body image work.
Steph offers a comfy and secure environment in session and clients are welcome encouraged to bring meals or snacks, hydration and preferred grounding objects, like blankets, fidgets, etc. She enjoys helping clients connect with their appetite signals and explore satisfaction with food, safe and enjoyable movement, while also unpacking rigid rules. She loves to connect with her clients’ care team, like Therapists, for collaboration and support on body work.
Outside of work, Steph loves to walk outside at the park, try local coffee spots, thrift, play piano, and spend time with her child, husband, and dog, Addi. She likes organization, lists and creating things with her hands, like flower arrangements, and aiming to keep her plants alive.
Steph is a registered and licensed dietitian in the state of Texas and Florida. She lives in College Station and offers virtual appointments via telehealth.
