Kailyn Jopling, MS, RD, LD (she/her)
Kailyn is a Registered Dietitian who works with clients of all ages to build a more steady, trusting relationship with food and their bodies. She believes nutrition care is most effective when it is individualized, respectful, and collaborative, and she supports clients in moving away from rigid food rules and diet culture.
With a background in eating disorder treatment, Kailyn understands that challenges with food are rarely just about eating habits. They are often shaped by personal experiences, beliefs, and broader systems that influence how people relate to their bodies. She works with individuals experiencing disordered eating patterns, chronic dieting, eating disorders across the spectrum, body image distress, and weight stigma. Kailyn also supports clients who struggle with food anxiety, guilt, loss of control around eating, or rigid and compulsive exercise patterns, as well as those with a history of dieting that no longer feels helpful.
Kailyn’s sessions emphasize internal cues, flexibility, consistency, and practical skills that support nourishment and long-term health. Kailyn also works with medical conditions where nutrition support is needed with a food-and-weight-neutral approach.
Kailyn was born and raised in New York. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Syracuse University and her Master’s degree in Nutrition from New York University. She completed her dietetic training through Sage College in upstate New York and began her career in a hospital setting before transitioning into partial hospitalization programs for eating disorders.
In addition to her primary areas of practice, Kailyn has clinical interests in MCAS and POTS, gastrointestinal concerns, migraines, PCOS, and nutrition support during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
Outside of work, Kailyn enjoys spending time at the lake, weight lifting, reading, and exploring new restaurants around Austin. She values time with her kids, husband, and dog, Chewy, as well as staying connected with friends and family.
Kailyn believes everyone deserves access to nutrition care that is ethical, evidence-based, and free from shame. She partners with clients to support sustainable healing and a more grounded relationship with food.
Kailyn is licensed in the state of Texas and offers both in-person sessions (in Dripping Springs) and virtual sessions.
