Ana Csitkovits, RD, LD (she/her)

Senior Lead Dietitian

Ana graduated from the University of Texas at Austin’s Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Her experience working at the various levels of eating disorder care has given her an appreciation for the importance of working as a team in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating, with the client at the center of that team.

Ana believes in an evidence-based approach to nutrition and enjoys making nutrition information straightforward and accessible. She advocates for learning to analyze research literature through a critical lens in order to better understand research outcomes. Ana is passionate about conversations related to the social determinants of  health and discussing beliefs about health and “wellness”.

Although she has lived in Texas most of her life, Ana is Mexican and a native Spanish speaker. She strives to provide culturally humble care to people of all backgrounds, and she is specifically interested in the way cultural practices impact relationships with food. She enjoys getting to know her clients and learning about the systems in which they exist in order to provide well-informed care. Ana’s strengths lie in nutrition counseling, social justice, and weaving humor into sessions.

In addition to her individual counseling work, Ana is the Senior Lead Dietitian who provides leadership and guidance to both the Associate Dietitians and the Lead Dietitian Team.  Her supervision style reflects her counseling approach, blending humor and curiosity to explore common themes and support supervisees in their client work. Ana values gently challenging providers to engage in their own personal growth, in order to better support their clients. Her reflective counseling philosophy, paired with her warm and encouraging supervision style, creates an environment that fosters meaningful growth for both clients and supervisees.

In her free time, Ana is an avid reader and enjoys exploring a variety of book genres. She loves to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines.

Ana is a registered and licensed dietitian in the states of Texas and New Mexico.  She is engaging in telehealth only sessions.
